Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859â1930) was a British writer and physician, best known for creating the iconic detective Sherlock Holmes. He wrote four novels and 56 short stories featuring Holmes and Dr. Watson, and also authored historical fiction, science fiction, and works on spiritualism. Doyle was knighted in 1902 for his public service.
