Rudyard Kipling

Joseph Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) was an English journalist, novelist, poet, and short-story writer born in British India. He is best known for his works inspired by India, including The Jungle Book, and was the first English-language writer to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1907.
