Mary Roberts Rinehart

Mary Roberts Rinehart (1876–1958) was an American writer known as the American Agatha Christie. She was a nurse turned author who became famous for her mystery novels, plays, and war correspondence. Her books sold over 10 million copies, and she was a pioneering figure in American detective fiction.
