Joseph Marshall

Joseph M. Marshall III is a Sicangu Lakota historian, educator, and storyteller born and raised on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation. He holds a PhD from the reservation university he helped establish and is an award-winning author of over twenty books focusing on Lakota history and culture. Marshall is also a craftsman of traditional Lakota bows and arrows and a specialist in wilderness survival.
