Edgar Wallace

Richard Horatio Edgar Wallace (1875–1932) was a prolific British crime writer, journalist, and playwright known for his extensive output of thrillers and detective fiction. He wrote 175 novels, 24 plays, and numerous articles, with over 160 film adaptations of his works. Wallace was also involved in early science fiction and technothriller elements in his stories.
