Rupert H. Wheldon

Rupert Henry Wheldon (1883–1960) was an American photographer and veganism activist who spent most of his life in England. He is known for his pioneering vegan cookbook "No Animal Food," published in 1910, which is often cited as the first vegan cookbook. In his later years, he ran a health food store in California.
