Jack London

Jack London (1876–1916) was an American novelist, journalist, and social activist known for his adventure novels depicting elemental struggles for survival. He was one of the first American authors to achieve international celebrity and financial success from his writing, producing over 50 books in 17 years. His works often drew from his own experiences, including the Klondike Gold Rush and his travels in the Pacific.
