Henry Ketcham

Henry Ketcham was a Union Army general and a United States representative who lived during the 19th century. He is best known for his biography of Abraham Lincoln, written in 1901, which is considered insightful and based on his near-contemporary perspective and personal knowledge of Lincoln. Ketcham was a lifetime politician and Civil War veteran who knew Lincoln personally and fought for the Union.
