Helen Keller

Helen Keller (1880–1968) was an American author, disability rights advocate, political activist, and lecturer. Deaf and blind from infancy, she overcame her disabilities with the help of her teacher Anne Sullivan and became a prominent writer and advocate for people with disabilities. She graduated from Radcliffe College and authored numerous books and articles.
