Edmond Hamilton

Edmond Hamilton (1904–1977) was a prolific American science fiction author known for his work during the mid-twentieth century. He was a pioneer of the space opera subgenre and wrote numerous stories and novels, including the notable 'City at World's End'. He was married to fellow science fiction author Leigh Brackett and also contributed to DC Comics, writing for characters like Batman and Superman.
