Catherine Steadman

Catherine Steadman is a British actress and author based in London, known for her role as Mabel Lane Fox in Downton Abbey. She trained at the Oxford School of Drama and has appeared on British and American television as well as on stage in the West End, where she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award. Her debut novel, Something in the Water, was a New York Times bestseller and has been optioned for film by Reese Witherspoon's production company.
